Flagship Impact

Corporate Video Production, Brought In-House

Multi-camera live production switching: OBS Studio and Blackmagic ATEM mini

~$75K

annual outside spend eliminated

4,000+

peak live viewers per town hall

3–10

person crews directed on-shoot

Brought corporate video production in-house at Aptive Environmental, replacing outside vendors and producing live, multi-camera company-wide events end-to-end — quarterly YouTube Town Halls (50–4,000+ viewers), Encore Global Operations Summits, and monthly Technology and Sales all-hands.

  • End-to-end production: pre-production planning, on-shoot direction, and post-production logistics including run-of-show, equipment, and deliverable archival.
  • Crew leadership: directed 3–10 person crews across camera, audio, lighting, and graphics; liaised between executives, marketing, and external partners.
  • Technical direction: TD for weekly, monthly, and quarterly Zoom webinars — run-of-show ownership and live Q&A moderation.

Outcome: faster turnaround for marketing, executive-ready broadcasts on a predictable cadence, and roughly $75K a year reinvested back into the business.

Projects & Systems

Lab Infrastructure

VMware vSphere Homelab

Dell PowerEdge R630 VMware vSphere homelab

Build and maintain a Dell PowerEdge R630 homelab running VMware vSphere, giving me a production-style sandbox to prototype services and validate infrastructure changes before rollout.

  • 3CX VoIP: experiment with SIP trunking, IVR call flows, and failover scenarios.
  • Active Directory: validate GPOs, login scripts, and roaming profiles for user mobility.
  • Service stack: run a Kemp load balancer, n8n automation server, and managed Minecraft world on isolated VLANs.

Secure Remote Access

Cloudflare Tunnels & Zero-Trust Controls

Cloudflare dashboard for remote homelab access

Cloudflare Tunnels expose selected services through a unified dashboard so I can administer VMs from anywhere while enforcing identity-aware policies.

  • Single entry point: centralized access to lab systems without exposing raw ports.
  • Segmentation: VLAN isolation and least-privilege rules contain experiments.
  • Always-on access: manage services securely from any location.

Browser Security

Chrome Browser Cloud Management

Google Workspace managed browser policies

Implemented managed Chrome policies without requiring profile login, preserving security posture while respecting licensing constraints.

Challenge

  • Shared accounts created sync instability when 700+ users signed in and out.
  • Security risk increased with widely shared credentials.
  • Budget constraints limited individual Google Workspace accounts.

Solution

  • Structured OUs and security policies tied to devices, not shared accounts.
  • Enrollment token embedded in the golden image for automatic registration.
  • Users sync personal accounts while remaining under corporate controls.

Toolbox

Platforms and tools in rotation

  • Infrastructure: UniFi, VMware vSphere, Cloudflare, VLAN segmentation.
  • Identity & access: Okta, Google Workspace OUs, managed browser policies.
  • Automation & comms: n8n, 3CX, five9, Clonezilla imaging.

Audio / Video Showcase

I pair technical rigor with production craft, creating enablement content that accelerates adoption, reduces support friction, and keeps teams aligned.

Passkeys Adoption

Internal-facing walkthroughs that made passwordless enablement approachable for employees and IT stakeholders.

Color Grading Showcase

Blackmagic RAW workflows built for cinematic sales reveals and training productions.

Live Production

Produced live streams for company town halls, quarterly business reviews, and sales or technology all-hands events reaching 50 to 4,000+ employees across in-person and remote audiences.
